Youth

We want our youth to develop a personal, living and exciting relationship with God. We aim to provide an enriching environment for them to build new friendships and to grow in their faith through studying the bible and praying. Our youth are also encouraged to develop their God-given gifts and talents.

Our youth group runs for Yr 9 - Yr13. However all school leavers and young adults are welcome, and encouraged to take on a leadership role.

What do we offer?

Sunday Sessions: Once a month on Sunday’s, the youth experience a ‘Sunday Session’ where a bible lesson is taught or a testimony is shared that is relevant to them.

Friday Night Youth Social: Once a fortnight on Fridays at 7pm, the youth gather at CFUH cafe to experience some social and fun activities! Friends of the youth are also welcome!

Home Groups: we have senior youth who have taken on small groups (4-5) of either girls or guys. They aim to build relationships with them, with a view to offer a long term commitment and involvement.

Upper Hutt Life Mission: we want out youth to understand the importance of serving, and we offer a variety of opportunities for them to serve others within the church family, and in the Upper Hutt community.
