Children's Church

Children’s Church runs most Sunday mornings with 4 classes – Yr 1-2, Yr 3, Yr 4-6 and Frequency which encompasses yr 7 – 9. There is also a pre-school class running. These classes are designed to teach the children about God’s love for them, to help them understand how they can be used in His service, and to develop their understanding of God’s principles in a way that is relevant to them.

We also run fun events throughout the year designed to encourage family and non-church friends to participate. Some events have been The Ice-cream Olympics, a Car Rally, and Man vs Wild survival day.

We encourage the children to think outside of themselves and they participate in Operation Christmas Child and the Famine. The children are encouraged to participate in a variety of plays, skits, dances and songs in the main church service and we endeavor to produce a Family service once a term where the children get to showcase what they have been learning.

Kindy Kids

This fun Christian based preschool morning is more than just another play group. This is a parent run programme for children aged 2 -5 years old.

Meeting fortnightly we look at a bible theme each term and take turns teaching a simple lesson with songs, sometimes a craft and a story. Morning tea and playtime round off our time. Mainly Music

A Mainly Music group is held at Lane Park every Thursday morning, for a thirty minute session, followed by morning tea. For pre-school children where they develop skills, through the use of music, rhyme, rhythm and other music related activities, with the participation of a parent or primary caregiver.
